FAQ
1. Is there any kind of government assistance available?
Australia has a wide range of government incentives accessible in all its states and territories. The costs quoted are after the Federal Government Rebates have been taken into consideration, if applicable.
2. What happens when it is cloudy outside?
On bright days, your solar system will gather the maximum amount of electricity possible; but, on gloomy days, the panels will not collect as much electricity as they would otherwise. On a cloudy day, you should expect the panels to produce around half the amount of energy that they would on a sunny day. If the electricity generated on a cloudy day is insufficient to meet the needs of the family, the system will draw power directly from the power grid to meet those needs.
3. What happens in the event of an electrical blackout?
As a precaution, all solar systems will automatically switch off during a blackout and reconnect after energy has been restored. This is done to prevent any potential safety hazards for utility employees who are repairing the line.
